Plumbers and contractors can take two courses for $70.00 and recieve 8 hours of continuing education.
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the course you will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the selected chapters of the 2017 Idaho State Plumbing Code.
About the Course:
Choose one of the State of Idaho 4 credit hour courses from above. The open book course is offered on-line only, consists of multiple choice and true and false questions. We suggest you read through the selected chapters of the 2017 Idaho Plumbing Code prior to taking the course. Once you begin the course, you have 60 days to complete it. Your progress will be saved and you can pick up where you left off at a later time.
Successful Completion:
When you finish the course you will receive a pass or fail grade. To receive a passing grade, you must receive at least a score of 70%. You can take this course as many times as you need to in order to pass the course. There are no additional course fees. When you successfully complete the course, you will receive a certificate which can be printed at the completion of the test. Your completed credit hours will be reported to your state within 24 hours of completion of your test.

Each contractor and plumber must provide 4 hours of continuing education hours of which must be on the 2017 Idaho State Plumbing Code, and 4 hours of an industry related course in order to renew their license. Plumbers have to complete 8 hours of continuing education for every three year license cycle. Four continuing education hours must be plumbing code related and the other four hours can be industry related training (3-29-10). Contractors have to complete 16 hours of continuing education for every three-year license cycle. plumbing education hours can be applied toward this requirement.
